In an effort to make using the sale forum as friendly and safe as possible, it has been decided a basic set of rules shall be obeyed by all members of this forum.

1) New guys who are only posting parts for sale:

Any member must reach a set post limit before a member is allowed to post any parts for sale. This will be in attempt to keep any scammers, spammers, or anyone just joining to push parts, at bay.

The post limit will initially be set at 10 post's. High enough to hopefully keep out bad business, but low enough that any serious member will have no problem attaining. This post count number subject to change at any time without prior notice.

Any sale threads made by a member with less than 10 post's will be LOCKED immediately until the limit is reached. Once the post limit has been reached the member can then request the thread unlocked by the forum Mods or Admin. This forum is small enough though that all threads are watched. If the member only post whores to reach the minimum, we will know, thread(s) will not be unlocked.

2) Multiple threads for multiple items:

If you have multiple items for sale, post them all in the same thread. No exceptions. If you make 3 posts for three items on the same day, the threads will either be:

A) Locked
B) Removed
C) Merged

This will be done at the Admin or Mods discretion.

If you make a new thread with like items with a day or two of eachother, and no other user's have posted, please add them to an original existing thread. You may 'bump' your thread by posting 'new items added'. Likewise, if someone has posted already, just edit your first post with the new items, again bumping it by posting 'new items added'.

3) Thread titles:

Title the sale threads inteligently. Threads entitled 'stuff', 'junk', 'misc' will be:

A) Locked
B) Removed
C) Edited

This will be done at the Admin or Mods discretion.

No need to make a list of parts for the title, but please try to give a general idea of the parts being listed in the thread.

4) Post pics of parts if available:

Do not post 'pics available upon request'. Either post pics or don't post at all. No need for threads to carry on with people continually requesting pictures.

5) Post a price:

If you're selling something, everyone wants to know the price. If you're linking to a site with your product, please still list the price.

6) No third party sales or auctions:

You're either selling it here, or there. No links to Ebay auctions. This applies to Craigslist or any other outside listing.

7) Your Location:

there is a place in your user Control Panel to list your location. use it before you post any for-sale threads. this goes for people replying too.

8) seller, vender feedback:

we provided this forum free of charge and we have made it very welcome for new people, keep it that way and use the feedback forum.

9) Space left blank for future rules:
