when they put the 89 turbo motor in the truck they removed part of the heater box. is there any way to fix it?

you bought it like this? if they removed part of it, ive heard of people cutting a notch, then reversing it and melt-weld it back in to re-seal. This is kind of like what they did to my corvette when they manu'd it. They put the 454 in it, and took the left side valve cover and pounded the back corner of it in so it could clear the brake booster. If im thinking of what your saying, they cut a hole in your box to clear your turbo?

This has to be done when using the stock turbo manifold, at least on our year trucks anyways. I believe if you go to a header that jess is selling that won't be an issue anymore.
