yea, i used that guy on ebay, the one that sends you the rebuild kit and then will balance the shaft for free.

he sends me an email today saying the shaft is bad, and is too worn to be used. whats your guys take on this. i told him to send it back anyways, since i sent him the money.

im gonna call precision tomorrow, cuz its still cheaper to rebuild this turbo than buy a new one (brand new this turbo costs over 600). but do you guys think maybe hes just messin with me??

one of the guys around here that got me into doin this whole swap, told me that all i would hafta do is put the rebuild kit in, take some 2000 grit to the shaft and i should be good, any input?

i called precision today. apparently, the dont sell components. but they did tell me that for like 180 i can send them all the parts and they will take it apart and rebuild it for me, plus give me a warranty.

no my question is, if i do end up needing a shaft, how much do you guys think that might set me back??

yea so i think the shaft is shot.

i got the shaft back, and put it together. everything was fine til i tried to spin it, and it feels like there a high spot on the shaft. it'll spin then gets caught.

so my first question, does anyone know where i could get just a shaft for a precision turbo?? i looked everywhere on google. i could call precision, but they want me to send it to them. i want to try to exhaust all my available options
