Don’t waist your time on the std 255LPH pump if you want to push over 400HP. There are to different holly pumps the HLY-12-915 & the HLY-12-902 the 915 is the forced induction pump.

Here is the data on the pumps.

Holley 12-915 InTank Pump

255 LPH Forced Induction
1985-95 Mustang 5.0L EFI
1996-97 Mustang 4.6L MPI

These pumps come in three types 190lph,
255lph standard and the forced induction
255lph. The Forced Induction pump flows
significantly more fuel at higher pressure.
For example at 80 p.s.i. the standard 255lph
will flow 35 gph at that same 80 p.s.i. the
equivalent Forced Induction pump will flow 50gph.

These equate to the following:
155 lph = 41 gph = 246 lbs of fuel = 491 hp
190 lph = 50 gph = 301 lbs of fuel = 600 hp
255 lph = 67 gph = 404 lbs of fuel = 800 hp

not to be party pooper, but holley does not make their own pumps... walbro makes them and holley rebadges them. so if you want to spend the extra money for a name thats cool, but that extra money buys extra parts for me.....

walbro makes all the pumps, they are all rebadged. even the factory ford pump is a walbro. it all depends on what price you can find it at. sometimes a rebadge is cheaper then the brand name.
