Well, just got my new project home last night and the sun just got up so I'm gonna head out and start the work.

It's a 93 reg cab short box with the 7.5ls diff, 3.0 and I believe the M5OD. Already have a TC with everything big I'll need for the swap.

My plans are quite basic. Not sure on FM or WTA inter cooler yet. Full rebuild to factory spec with maybe a tiny bit of porting on the head and bore .030 over (if it needs to be bored). TC has a T5 tranny already attached to the motor and a 8.8 4link with disks and quad shocks in the back. Bow has some damage on it so I'll be swapping to the sidestep as I've heard it's bedsides are fiberglass from factory. Drop it to sit just barely higher then my Focus' stock height. 4link rear swap and if it's not ridiculously priced, a Mustang 2 front suspension for the better handling. Ohh, and I'll see if I can fit a 10lb bottle behind the seat :P

I'll try to have pics up by the end of the day

sounds a bit overkill for a daily driver, but i like overkill. :D

By daily driver I think he means the 3 to 4 months of not winter that they get. HA HA HA.

Well the 3.0 in it right now runs alright, so I'm gonna keep that in there for now and use it all year. Meanwhile I'm gonna buy all the parts and rebuild the motor before starting the swap so that theres less delay's while I'm doing it. Even when It's done I might still drive it in the winter and just turn down the boost so it's not as ridiculous to get traction, thats why I'm keeping it near stock so that winter isn't as hard on it. Might even scrap the whole different IC setup since mine has the top mount on it, so just might make the ducting in the hood for it to work :P

Well heres the pics. I know she's not that pretty yet, but it'll all get done. This make it so we now have 4 Fords in our driveway. Unfortunately my parents won't let me park the other 2 on the lawn so their at a buddies farm :P

your gonna turbo the 3.0. You might want to look for a bi turbo kit from a maserati. They have low boost and they might be just what you need. I think a 2.6 v6 is what they came on. Found a few and was thinking of doing a turbo 3.0 a while back.

Ohh no, I have a 2.3t sitting in a TC I have for parts. Might build a buggy or something tubular with the 3.0 motor :P
