So i came across this cast manifold design that looked like it would work really good for the hx35 if it was for the 2.3. Just thought I'd see what others think.

Not sure that one would work too well, would likely put the turbo too close to the head. I've never seen that one before though, not likly for a 2.3

looks more like a intake manifold using a carb.

Its a twin scroll manifold if you look close at it. Thats why I thought it was interesting. It has the 1 and 4 cylinder paired and 2 and 3 paired. Does look kind a like a single barrel intake though.

 maby if you could some how flip that over and then put the turbo on and maby it would help with keeping heat away from the block or head... just thinking

I was just thinking if you took this design and the design of the 89 to 94 intake manifold and made a header out of stainless it would be really good. The t3 mount would have to be centered though. But you could just have the number 2 and 3 tubes a little longer so that they where all the same length. I just like how simple the design is. This isn't a manifold for any actual engine that I know of. Its demonstration picture on Greddy turbos site. Wish I could draw a 3d of what I have in my head.

problem is the divider is facing the wrong direction. it needs rotated 90*.
