I will be heading to the track this Saturday April 5. I'll be racing at Thompson OH. I may be down at Sunset on Sunday not sure yet.
I got the 16cm housing on the H1C and I can make big boost on the line :=) I’ll be running the slicks.

107.6MPH I think I broke the flex plate :( I only made one 1/4MI pass. Did not powerbrake enough to get boost on the line so the E/T was only a 15 I thought I would do the power brake thing on the next pass but then it broke down on me.

good mph for a 15 et. sucks that you broke the flex plate.
flex plate is the fly wheel for an auto tranny.

A flex plate is what holds the converter to the motor. I'll put a different converter in this week and see what happens next weekend. I am not going to run the H1C with the 16cm housing again because it just can not support the HP I need. I can feel it don't pull as hard as the super 70 on the road.
I think it has a 112 MPH in it right now. With the big IC I hope for 115 MPH in the 1/4. I'll have my work cut out to hit the 11's this year.

BTW it still ran and drove there was a funny rattle coming from what sounded like the bell housing. I'll know by tomorrow night what the problem is.

Took the motor out today. Some how the flex plate came loose, so that is what was making all the noise.
I am puting the big IC in this week so I am not sure if I'll be ready to race next sat or not.

lucky! did to wolly out the bolt holes any ? hard to beleave how much noise a lose or broken flex plate can make.
had a 85 rx-7 with a mild built 350 an powerglide in it given to me years ago cause the owner thought he blew the motor. upon closer inspection i noticed the flexplate shifting when the starter engaged. so i pulled the tranny changed the flex plate an sold the car.
