i dont have a picture of it, but ill get one if you guys need it.

its part or the egr tube. picture the egr tube, with two smaller tubes coming off it, and it goes to a sensor that has i believe at least 1 vacuum tube (might have 2 vacuum connections) and a 3 prong electrical connector.

now since im doing away with the egr, what do i get about it, am i able to turn off the egr with the program from the xcal like i can do with the 2nd o2 sensor, or am i just going to always have the cel on for a egr code

Not 100% sure what it is but my plug is tapped up and the little box is gone. If i remember correctly it bolts to one or two of the exhaust manifold studs.

It is a dpfe sensor. It is a feed back for the computer so that it knows that egr is flowing through the pipe when the valve is commanded on. There are 2silicone hoses that go to the egr pipe with an orifice in between in the pipe. The difference in pressure between the two hoses is used to calculate egr flow. I have mine plugged in and the hoses go to nowhere. Also even with egr turned off I had to unplug my egr valve or else it would actuate. Sniper must just stop any codes for egr from stetting a light or getting stored in memory.

It is a very common part ot fail. If yours is good it might be worth a few bucks on ebay

With a flash tune it can de disabled. You don't need that plug.

so when i go to the race shop for my tune, they can do a tune that get rid of the egr or dpfe switch??

i already did away with the flange on the manifold for the egr, kinda late to go back
