WTB HY35 holset turbo

I'd like to buy a brand new hy35 turbo for my truck or a good used one if anyone has any to sell. If you guys know any site where I could find a brand new one would be highly appreciated.:D

yeah thanks but, 350$ for a used 2001 turbo isnt it expansive? would rather get a brand new one for that price... thanks anyways !

why are these turbo so rare they don't sell them anywhere brand new? can't seem to find any new hy35 anywhere on web?

its a $900 turbo new lol. go to a cummins dealer and price one :)

It's not that they're rare... The problem is everyone is looking for them. Took me several months of looking to find one at the price I wanted. I'm into mine, fully rebuild for a little over $200 right now, I'll say $250 though when I get a V-band for it.

I see new ones pop up one ebay every blue moon for $550-650. Actually, I remember there was a dude in the Seattle area that had a gangload of them, and was listing them at $450 staring bid a few months back.

You just gotta be vigilant! Keep on the lookout,ya know!

yeah great thanks oldmandan, but I won't trust ebay anymore since I saw those cheap hx35 knockoffs at 300$.

Just find an HE351 or an HX series. Plenty of them around.

Charlie at Evergreen Turbo was telling me he was selling the one off his SVO. It's modified though, I think he put a bigger compressor wheel on it.
