Whoops, trying to get them for my turbo application. trying to see if I can find forged ones cheaper
Ah, your looking for forged ones.... That makes a big difference. Sorry can't help you there.
I hate to be the guy to tell you this but there are no cheap 2.5L anything. Especially forged pistons/rods.
That's why you see so many guys convert there 2.5L to 2.3L including myself.
It's far cheaper to purchase some used 2.3L turbo pistons and rods and then buy a 2.3L crank kit from the 95-98 engines and put it all together in your 2.5L block. Works very well.

Hmmm, how tough is that to do? What am I looking at for ballpark figures? What type of work is involved in that, any machining or things I have to worry about?
Will all the sensors and such on the 2.5L work with the 2.3L internals? Does that throw it outta whack?

you can use the 2.3L wiseco pistons and crower rods without changing anything according to jess if i understood him right

It's a bolt on affair. No machining.
All sensors stay, nothing else changes.
Yes, your tune will need to be adjusted, but nothing dramatic.
I did mine, including new crank, bearings, gaskets, rings, water pump, timing belt & tensioner, accessory belt, etc. and a set of used turbocoupe pistons with the rods, all for under $500.

Wow thats pretty good! Where did you get all of your new parts? The new crank, bearings, gaskets, piston rings, etc.....
I'm assuming I can either ask around here or a junkyard for turbocoupe pistons and rods?
I got all the new parts from rockauto.com.
If you get a new (ground) crank, it's a good idea to buy a crank kit (includes the bearings).
As far as the forged turbo pistons, the best place to get them is off of the MANY fan forums... including the turbo coupe guys, the merkur guys, the svo guys... even ebay.
I even think I saw a guy on here say he has a set.

Excellent, so rockauto.com also has the cranks themselves and the crank kit?
Yes, rockauto will have it.
I think you can buy just the crank.... I don't know, I'd have to look. The crank kit is the crankshaft and the matching set of bearing for that crank. It's definitely the way to go.
BTW, you can also get these parts through napa or advance or any other parts store.
