Looking for used forged pistons and rods from an old t-bird or anything. I'm going to go the way of using the 2.3L crank, looking for some pistons and rods to go with it.

you know you can buy the tc or svo pistons new for like 30 or 40 dollars??
go to oriellys or autozone or w/e autoparts store is around you and tell them that you need pistons and rods from and 84 svo or turbocoupe and they will hold boost just as fine and they are new

These the ones? 99.00 for the set of 4, says they are standard size, not oversized

Confirm those are forged before you purchase. I have seen several instance of the replacement pistons being hypereutectic when the originals were forged.

I'll definately confirm that when I go to the store. Where can I get rods then. Doesn't look like they carry the rods

Yea I didn't wanna pay too much but I was goin out so I had to throw a higher bid on in hopes of winning. I'm sure I could've snipped it lower and not allowed the silly bidders to bid it up $1 at a time. Oh well, do what you gotta do to get what you want!
