I used a 90mm MAF for a Lightning and a modded LA3 tune setup to use a MAF and the ACT sensor. It wasent much to wire up, you just need a tune file setup to use a MAF.
here are some pics
How I wired it up.

Got myself a new Coil Pack, just need some new wires and plugs.

After the radiator upgrade I had to move my HKS SSQV

it runs and drives and sounds sweet as hell when im in boost but i wont push it past 3 or 4psi until i can get a better MAF transfer function in it.
And I got one error code to get fixed before I do anymore.
AFR is looking good so far tho.
I need to work on my Backflow function when i get out of boost all that air goes back thru the meter and it wants to stall.

Well I went out and bumped my base fuel pressure to 43.
Set my 50pt MAF Transfer back to a stock 90mm MAF.
Took it out and ran pretty lean off the start but when I put my foot in it, it went down into the 12s.
I stopped and pulled my chip and multiplied the whole MAF Transfer function by 1.05.
Took it down the road and off the start it was a lot better, no more 15, 16 and 17 AFR readings.
Went and got some fuel and where I live I had a bridge to go down. Got gas and on my way back up the hill(bridge) I opened it up and the boost comes on so much faster and it pulls way better than with the VAM on there. AFR was staying on the mid to high 11s and low 12s.
So I get to the top of the hill and turn on my road, boost a lil in 1st and hit 2nd gear pretty good and boost comes in quick and a lil hard and get some wheel spin.
So I am pretty pleased with todays tuning results. Got a bit more to do, put new plugs and wires, change oil, new downpipe, and other misc crap.
Other than that should be a good year for the truck.
