:banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
My retarded friend is a retard. I give him oodles n oodles of proof to back up the fact that my 2.3L RANGER can be turbo'd reliably AND put down numbers AND hit 30PSI.

YET, oh my friends dont think so. It's the wrong head. It's a different shape. It wont work. It will blow up. I give it 2 months, other guys say 2 weeks.

:banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

He's a cocky **** and drive a rocket ship (SRT-4).
So he think's he can beat anything and he knows everything about turbos.

YET, he wanted to buy a "block off plate" for his setup so he can run a new "BOV". Does that make sense to anyone? LOL So funny. I, a guy that doesn't own a turbo vehicle, put him in his spot in front of dozens of people that have basic knowledge about it.

YET, he goes on n on n on, been about an hour now on msn about how my turbo ranger wont work and wont run faster then 15's. HA.

Basically I wanna BEAT THE PANTS off of him but FUNDING is soo slow. I really wanted to be FINISHED by this coming weekend but you know, I'm barely started. :(

Sorry, had to rant, he's pissin me off.

Build it at your own pace, crank the boost up, watch him cry and shut his mouth!

I feel your pain, im jealous of all these people whose swaps are done. I was planning on having rods/pistons bought by now, but I havent, somehow my bank acct has increased enough to where I feel like I can comfortably buy them.

This guy is clearly and idiot. I've been running my setup for a year now and its just fine. Hell look at jess, i bet he's putten over 400hp to the ground and his engine is holding together just fine. I say you tell your friend in his neon to go to the flash light drags in PA and challenge Jess :hehe: he would be eaten alive!

Take your time, do it right and once you are done show him who is boss ;) .

I am thinking of running in the tuner class next time at the flashlight drags so I could kill a few SRT4's. A ranger motor in my opinion is a better stronger motor than the SRT4 motor.

I have a better buddy helping now LOL
Had a lil accident with the truck. Was tryin out some 20" Foose rims on the ranger. LOVED EM. But can't afford atm. ANYWAYS they were my buddies. He was performing the unmounting/mounting of the rims. He put my rims back on. I was driving down the 401 doin 120km/h and rear wheel falls off. I wanna kick him in the balls.

ANYWAYS I have a new friend that is a sponsor for our club! He specializes in 5.0 Mustangs but loves and knows Ford in general. SO I scored myself a tow to his shop, and a hoist for however long I need it. :D :D :D

He's going to assist with the turbo swap when I need it. I'm DETERMINED to do this myself even though I've only torn down and rebuilt an engine once in autoshop LOL. AND it just so happens he is an SCT dealer LOL. Got my Hurst shifter for me as well.

AN he thinks I can spank an SRT-4 with "Mopar stage 2" as well. :D

He's a ricer through and through.

Owns 'quick' car, thinks he knows everything there is, and only talks **** about what he doesn't drive/own/know.

He may be a ricer but he sure seems to know what he's doing with that car.

Rob, who's this friend of yours? What shop does he own? And does he have a dyno? lol

what part, in his description of his friend, leads you to believe that "he sure seems to know what he's doing with that car?"

SRT-4 Guy, cocky ****tard that knows a lot of stuff on PAPER not hands on.
Mustang guy, it's not a true SVO, it's been swapped into it. He knows quite a bit but not quite enough.
Shop guy, he's the owner of Street Tech Racing. HE knows his ****. I was there today doin my rear end swap :D

The SRT-4 guys do think they own one of the fastest cars on the road. I was talking with a dude out at quaker city the other night. He was saying how his SRT4 gut threw a rod threw the block at 400 some HP.

SRT4's are not all that great. I know modified SRT4's can run in the 10's but they don't have nothing over the 2.3l
Look at what Joe Morgan did with a 2.3L 9.0 @ 150MPH Dave Flanders 9.xx @ 140+ Jon Huber 8.xx @ 150+ John Dell Blair 9's at 147MPH.

Joe Morgan has been helping me with some tuning advice ;) maybe i can touch a 10.99 this year.

Unfortunately no, that's the only thing he doesn't have yet.
If he did, then he could get more involved with the SCT tuning.

He's been having hard times for a few years now, trying to get back up and running big again. He's a victim of identity theft. Not a pleasant thing at all.

There's a place in Brantford IIRC that I might go to as they have a dyno and do SCT tuning. We'll see when the time comes. When I have all of the parts and start the build. Won't be until I have a better daily driver. The 2 that I have now are 2' short of being pushed off a cliff.
