have a few extras laying around and thought dad would get a surprise out of opening the hood and seeing this..... what do ya think?

Looks great!:thumbsup: I have the same VC, I just finished painting it a few weeks ago with some black engine enamel. I had to sand the hell out of the tops to make them look good again.
What did you use to paint for ford emblem blue?

i sprayed some engine enamel ford blue on a piece of plastic and brushed it in.....
i started by painting the whole thing semi gloss black, painted the oval and when it all hardened i took a sander and sanded all the raised ribs..... took about an hour...

uim going to work on mine tomorrow for a bit. i dont know about painting it tho. its too cold here now.
