Like the title says, I lowered my `07 ranger using djm 2" drop coils and flipped and swapped the rear spring hangers side to side. I got a set of basset dot nascar wheels with good year eagle tires. Yeah I`m a nascar fan, just thought I`d share it.

Looks good
I am considering doing the same drop. How would you say the ride quality was effected RangerGT?

what size tires and wheels are you running? Any camber issues with a 2in drop coil? Using factory shocks? Lots of questions but I like to know how everyone does it since theres so many ways! And yeah it turned out sweet looking, nice stance and functional.

Heaaah! so that's what the honda guys are doing. I always thought it was a picnic table on their trunk:moon:.
Thanks guy. Ride quality is nearly the same as stock, it's just a slight bit harsher from the front coils. It's still better than the torsion bar rangers.
I'm using stock size tires p225 70 r 15 on 15 x 7 wheels with 3.625 back spacing. This way I didn't have to worry about the speedo being out and I'm sure the 70 series tires help retain the ride quality. I purchased the camber bolt kit as well and had it aligned after the coil installation. They only needed to install the camber bolts in the one side. I am still using factory shocks. I find it practical because I actually use it as a truck regularly and it still hauls a load like stock.
