i got it done ant it took about a week to install. havent started it becuse i wont recive pro race sct software till wednesday. i need to make sure i got my vac lines right. where is their a diagram of this i thought i had it right but somebody said somrthing about a one way check valve for the bov? in my kit it says check valve "arrow points toward wastegate acuwaiter. witch if the bov vac line goes to te waste gate i've got it all messed up. i have it like this

top waste gate to: mainfold
side waste gate to : intercooler piping 1/8 thread and brass fitting
bov to : manifold (no check valve)
boost gauge to: manifold

one more thing witch wire on the o2 sensor is the signal wire for the air/fuel gauge. i have to have that.

bov and boost guage are correct. As for the wastegate, i only had to hook up one line to mine, it came from the outlet side of the turbo. The pressure will actuate the wastegate causing it to open and let exhaust gases bypass your exhaust turbine therefor controlling how must boost the turbo makes.

I will let you know which wire on the o2 sensor.

Side waist gate to manifold top WG is a breather that's how my WG is hooked up and it works perfect. Never heard of a check valve on the BOV seems like that would mess it up? No check valve on the BOV and run it to the intake manifold on the Vac side of the throttle body.

If you need any help on the SCT pro race SW PM me.

The second port on the wastegate is only necessary if you are running an electronic boost controller I believe. As stated above, BOV and boost gauge sound right

For my wastegate I leave the top port open to vent to atmosphere, the side port I have hooked up to a port directly in front of the throttle body. I did that so whatever the throttle body reads, thats all the amount of pressure I want the motor to see.

You can try hooking it up to another source, but thats just what I did

I have a 96 ford ranger 2.3ltr I got my motor rebuilt and the guy said it has forged pistons already? Is this true? I am about to trade my dirtbike for a 2.3T out of a turbo coupe aand I was wondering if I can just unbolt the turbo off that motor and put it on mine? I knoow I have to have a turbo oil feeed line? But is there any major complicatiions I should know about?
any feed back will be greatly appreciated thankkks

that guy is full of shit they dont come with forged pistons unless it was rebuilt with them or are stock turbo coupe pistons

the wastegate only needs a regular vacuum from the intake manifold or from the turbo to the top, the side is only needed for a boost controller.
