I've sort of been keeping an eye out (http://www.turborangerforums.com/showthread.php?t=1813&page=2) for one of these hydraulic T5 bellhousings.

I would like to have one on the "Ranger Shelf" in the garage just in case. I haven't really been in a rush or anything.

But, now with my rear main leaking problems (http://www.turborangerforums.com/showthread.php?t=2500), I'd like to have one sooner rather than later.

With this bell; I can just bolt the flywheel on, then the starter and start my engine. That way, if my rear main leaks again, I'm not pulling the entire tranny (by myself) to get to it to repair it.

Anyone see a flaw with this epiphany?:bigear:

Is there any super benefit to having the 1g Ranger 4 speed bell?

What I'm asking is; can it be used to bolt up to a super desirable/beefy trans?

If you have one of those 87/88 bells, reckon what the going price of one is?

Well, the 1g bell will at least do what I need to do.

Any interest in letting it go? What would you want for it? Shipping will be to Columbia, TN 38401

If you like to email me, my user name <--- (over there) @yahoo.com

Does the hydraulic TC bell have a fork because a hydro bell is all that I'm really interested in.

As you are probably well aware, the Ranger's slave cylinder is an internal design & I'm not versed enough to know if the t5 shares the same design.

Sorry but I'm ignorant on the subject.

If yours will work, I don't know how much it should be worth so please don't take offense but I was hoping I'd be able to land one in the $30-$40 range plus shipping (if that's even feasible).

IF you are looking for a bellhousing to just run the engine why a need for the TC type bellhousing? My '93 Ranger also had an external slave cyl. but for a specific TC bellhousing I hope you have success as I have had to buy parts cars just for the specific TC parts.

Yeah, I don't need the TC bell to just run the engine. However, I do need a bell to start it.

With that being said, down the road, I may want to switch to a T5. So, I could sort of kill two birds with one stone. Get a bell for starting it now and have the TC's hydro t5 bell for the future.

Clear as mud?:hehe:

Ill get it popped off the trans today.

the T5 hydro fork diffres from the cable pull forks

the 87/88 TC with the external slave is set up like the 83 rangers with the exturnal slave, I think it was in 85 that the ranger went to the internal slave (motyo 5 speed)
