Is your wastegate open at idle? If you run an open wastegate this is easy to check

When I first installed my wastegate I forgot to put in the "fire ring". This messed up my wastegate so that it was always open

Just a thought of something to check!

Here are some pics how to install the WG. With no ring installed you will not be able to make boost.

Is your turbo internaly gated? If it is you need to shut the internal WG.

no i have the waste gate you pictured. the same style. i put suction pressure in the side port but it does not hold suction does that mean anything. i looked at the internal rubber linner and looks fine. the only thing i have noticed is one of the allen screws is stripped out. i'm going to re-thread it today and i'll use a liquid gasket on it just to be sure. i changed the 8lb spring to a 14.7 lb spring . if this does not work i'll buy one from you jess.
