We've all seen those nice air filter adapters on Ebay and in Summit catalogs for around the $50 mark.
Do yourself a favor, DON'T BUY THEM!!
Go to Home Depot, look in the plumbing section by all the ABS pipe and Fernco's. Look for a 4" ABS pipe flange with a 3" neck, some are a solid plastic piece, some have a steel flange on them for cast pipe, you want the all plastic piece.
This is the same one I used except the one shown has the center cap in the inside and not on the edge of the flange

Most have a cap that need hammered out when you install them. If you do stumble upon one with the cap on the edge of the flange, DON'T HAMMER IT OUT YET! The 90mm MAF's fit perfectly, they will center themselves. Trace out the flange and get to work with the hacksaw, sawzall, or whatever you have. Then when your all done get a file and clean it up. Mark your holes and drill them out. Now you can hammer the cap, pull it off with some plyers and clean up the left over casting with some sand paper or a dremel.

Now you have yourself a great air filter adapter! Cost me a total of $3.19 and about 30 minutes of work.
