what is it used for?
just to load the tunes or can you adjust them as well?

Live load is for loading .LL3 files onto your tuner. They can't be adjusted on the computer with live load but you can adjust them on the tuner itself. Just a few things though.

so when you say just a few things could i get the ranger tuned enough to drive with just the tuner? the local shop wants $400 for a dyno tune so i dont know what route i should go

You can get by with just a tune. Here is what you can adjust on the tuner.

so this is what i can do with it just hooked up to the truck??
i really dont have the money to buy the tuning software right now
after i get my truck ready for a tune jess would you mind helping me out???
