I been looking around to see what kind of swaybar i need to get for the front and rear of my ranger. It has 3/4 DJM lowering kit. I would love to get it to hook up and stoping hopping in the rear.... What swaybar ya'll run on your ranger?

Bronco II or belltech makes an 1" 1/8 front swaybar, bII are hard to find here in WA so I'm going to get the belltech

the bronco 2 rear bar sizes from 7/8" - 1 1/4".if you do find a rear bar, the drivers side arm has to be straight some come bent to the right an if you install this 1 it runs into the bottom side of the tank.
car-part.com might help with your search also.

will it work with my 4in drop in the rear, or is there a sway bar that flip around facing the back that work out better with the drop?

I have an 8" drop in rear using explorer rear end and am running both stock 7.5" rnger and 8.8" explorer sway at the same time. Purrrrrdy solid :)

Stock sway is attached with a ubolt kinda dealie IIRC so not hard to attach it if it's lowered.

To be more specific can someone specify what year(s) of the bII are most desired if there is any difference?

I have a 2000 with a 7" drop in the rear and I run a bII rear sway bar. Fits great, no problems. I don't see how it could ever rub the gas tank.

IMO, I would opt for the bII sway bar as it can be had at the local bone yard for chump change (I bought mine and all the hardware for like $10).

like i said SOME come bent on the left side,so sounds like you found 1 that is straight like the factory ranger 1.
if its bent it will rub the tank.

This is me just thinking could you put F150 springs up front or they are to long... Im trying to stay at 3/4 drop cant go any lower.

then get OEM springs

if you dont want to lower it anymore then i guess OEM is the way to go (i assume you have beams) i never heard of performance spring for these trucks just lowering ones, only thing for handling would be probably stiffer shocks and the BII sway bar because it thicker to stiffin up a little and get rid of some body roll

You rub? Must have too big of tire/wheel combo.

I'm using Belltech Nitro drop shocks. Love em so far. Come with poly bushings installed. Sweet shocks.
