I just bought a 97 4x4 ranger this is it's twin right here, except it is green

My friend had this truck and blew the 4.0L in it told me I could have it for 600$ I gave him the $ and he is gonna drop it off at my place Monday :=) Don't worry I am still gonna run the 2wd on the dyno real soon.

The plan 2.5L turbo motor same setup I had running 113.98 in the 1/4 mi. I got the 5spd located for the 4cyl 4x4. I will put a dana 60 in the rear, I have a dana 60 that is cut down for a jeep that has custom made 5 lug axles :smilewink. This truck is going to be strictly a sled pulling truck and will run in the 6200lb division. I will have it ready to hook to the sled in a few weeks. I will run the same traction bars on it as I run on my 6.0L powerstroke, a custom made sledpulling hitch some stoppers so the rear suspension is solid ;)
I will sneak it into the street class at the meadville fair as soon as the pull is over I am sure I will get disqualified.

I'm exited this is going to be some real fun.

If you wonder this is what sled pulling is, to win you need big HP a lot of wheel speed and get moving down the track fast. It is important to have a very stout suspension.

Get a vid of the first pull you go to from the stands. I wanna hear what some of those ppl say lol.
You think that tranny and transfer case will hold up?
