Well of all the things IVe thought bout in my motorswap the one thing I didnt even think of is hte belt setup. The TCs used a double belt setup right? So do I just use the pullys from my ranger to keep it a serp setup? Or is there something a lil more complicated to this and Im just making this more difficult for myself?

What year is your ranger? If its pre 95, you can keep your Ranger accesory brackets and pulleys and use them on the turbo engine, this will alllow you to keep it how you want.

If its a 95 and later truck, and you're using the turbo block then you're stuck with trying to find 92-94 Ranger brackets and pulleys to work.

If its a 95 and later, and you are using your 95 and later block, then you'll have to use your 95+ brackets and pulleys.

ok got another question so I want to rotate my intake 90 degrees so it straight. I think I remember hearing that theres some interference with one of hte ranger brackets or am I confusing that with the TC brackets?

You'll hit the AC compressor if you do. If you don't care for AC, then you can ditch the compressor and will be fine.

This should help show you. I have the coil mounted on top of the bracket where the AC compressor was.

I love how clean your engine bay is. So neat and so much room without the ac or heater box

Lol, thanks, but I see a mess of vacuum hoses, zip tied plug wires and countless other 'little' things that I know about.

I'm actually looking for a heater box to put back in there though. Sucks when the window fogs up and you got no defrost lol.

crap no I am planning on keeping my ac guess Ill just live with the stock intake. Now that Im on the subjects of intake I got another question, I have two sets of intakes, I got bobs upper/lower that I bought form someone years ago off RPS but I have the other one that I pulled from my other block it dosnt say 2.3 turbo on it. do you guys think this may be from a NA motor? I plan on using the bob intakes I have but I think they are the shorter ones and I dont have the short valve cover, I have 3 valve covers but none with the dip

Does your intakes look like the one in my pic? I don't remember, but I don't think the intakes said turbo did they? They just said 2.3 with the Oval Ford emblem on them?

That said, I had a short upper intake that ran over that valve cover at one point. you have to shorten the vacuum port under the intake and cap it, otherwise it will hit the valve cover. Other than that, it fit, but just barely.
