with the tracton control and the sweet ass quattro all wheel drive system, it will do better in the snow than my truck. lol

i dont have the sport suspension so it ride a lot smoother

there are a good bit of upgrades for them also, but i wont get into that yet they are way to expensive

Congrats. We have a 2003 Pzzat. They are nice. We changed wheels & a euroswitch to cancel the DRL, but otherwise ours is stock.

Not to discourage anyone, but the DB605 is technically supercharged:

technically a turbocharger is a supercharger as well :turbob:

My point was, the DB's compressor is not driven by a turbine.

Bump to the top. Salating, what's your opinion of the K03?

salating
04-04-2009, 01:28 PM
i like it, but the k04 would be so much better. 15-18psi i think is about the limit on the ko3, its so small

one thing nice is that i can put the k04 on my current setup without changing the tune and have a more efficient turbo

add some new injectors and an exhaust and the tune and its about 250hp

i like doing radiators on newer passats at my shop, the customer has to pay for me to remove the whole front end to get to it, lights, bumper ect. lol

haha yea, you pretty much pull the whole front of the car off
newer models are a lot eaiser than the older ones tho

i saw at r8 a couple weeks ago it was beside me at a red light, 130k for one of those fully loaded, but it does have 420hp 4.2L with a 6 speed manual and awd

pretty sweet, sounds sick too

overall the passats are very nice, well trimmed interior, good handling, like you said they need a bigger turbo , overall they're really nice and prob a good sleeper
