After countless issues since my first drive video post, most of the issues are worked out and it is MUCH happier now.
Work done since the "first drive" video:
-Correct length junkyard aluminum driveshaft
-New U-Joints
-New fuel pump wiring
-Bypass Valve from frozenboost.com
-Another T-5 trans
-Welded trans mount solid
-Lots of swearing at the POS truck
-Installed a bumper
-2.5" exhaust with a summit glasspack
-Removed the one fake hood scoop LOL
-Fix wipers and sprayers
-Fix radiator leak
-Consider selling the damn thing
-Fix heater core
-Fix Heater resistor
-New thermostat

Work TO BE done:
-Remove hood pins and bondo holes
-Remove hood scoop and install a vent and intercooler fan in its place
-Remove truck visor or whatever it is called
-Get a bed cap
-Install OEM mirrors
-Swap monster tach for a smaller one
-Install radio
-Clean Interior
-Install 93 octane switch
-BURNOUT VIDEO:turbob:

Enjoy:

Well yea it was worth it, hah:D. I was just not ready for countless hidden unexpected issues with the truck like the heater core, driveshaft, transmission being shot, etc... when I bought it. I mean the prev. owner really did a good job breaking everything and hiding it. Ohe well. I will love it when it is done! And I have learned a TON, which is perfect because i am studying to be a mechanical engineer!

I do have to hand it to ford AGAIN for making an AMAZING turbo 2.3! WOW! I love ford and will rarely if ever buy anything else:rockwoot:

Believe it or not, the process of assembling the engine in my truck now was what inspired me to start working on my ME degree. I have the pioneers of this forum to thank for that! :thanks:

Hell, we all are essentially re-engineering our own engines. I'm really glad to see more Engineers show up on this forum.

Sounds like it's running like a champ!

Ok, so is the shift light part of the tach that is in the dash? Is it an oem tach and speedo? Pics in the daytime would be great!

i was curious so i googled a9l and it says it is a 86-93 mustang v8 computer that runs speed density, how the heck do you run the ranger on it?
