COMPRESSOR SPECS: T04E housing .60 A/R housing Flow: 53 lbs/min, 678cfm 60 Trim wheel Turbine specs:T3 .60 A/R housing High Flow 76 trim Stage

i'm looking to boost 15-20psi. i want to spool quickly but i dont want the resistance of a small turbo.

i need a turbo for around 200.00. i really want to use my waste gate. i've got the motor pulled and at the machine shop.

2.3L stock bore with 88 turbo coup forged pistons rods
arp rod bolts. stud mains and stud head.
gapless rings.
and i keeped my meth and inercooler
who knows mabe i'll make 300-325 at 20lbs. mabe i'll boost to 25lbs i want to 350rwhp. it looks like all in all i'll have it done in two-three weeks for about $1000.

sct tune ended up being 600.00. this project has costed me about 3000.00. i bought the truck for 2500. its kinda funny.

I "bet" you'd be fine with that turbo. So far it sounds like a good candidate. I'd have to crunch some numbers but I have to head out in a minute. Hopefully someone else can give you a good answer, but just off the bat, I'd say thats a great selection. Better than the t70! :turbob:

I'm also into it for more than I bought my truck for. around 2000 for the truck, over 2500 into it!

DEAL or NO DEAL. is it worth buying? considering it in good shape. no shaft play, fins look good.

i know but not to hurt anyones feelings but those wastegates look like shat. and i'm not willing to change over to internal after everything is bought and tested. but i'm not saying that if the right deal came along i would jump on a holset.

i have a hy35w for 175 + shipping

its real tight but the turbine housing has some internal cracks in it which can be eaisly filled in with a welder

When you buy a garret, you can buy the exhaust flange that covers up the internal wastegate exit port. Its a 5 bolt flange that bocks off that side, and keeps the exhaust open and flowing. I have it on mine, real simple, almost standard as most people run external. Just do a search on ebay

heres an example http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OBX-HYBRID-TURBO-DOWNPIPE-EXHAUST-WELD-FLANGE-T3-T3-T4_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286Q2em14Q2el1318QQ hashZitem160264514459QQitemZ160264514459

Keep an eye and search ebay for this flange. I kept searching and found one with a 3 inch v-band clamp already welded onto it, and it came with the opposing v-band. Mine has 5, that 4 bolt setup looks a lot cleaner without the internal!! Great pickup!!!

i got my new/used garrett turbo 60 a/r.. it is way smaller than my t70. i found out my old turbo had a 84 trim on the cold side.
