does anyone do that cut and weld for piping. i do and it works perfectly fine and super cheap, $20 for 8' of 2.5" aluminized exhaust tubing, gas and welding wire. and you can build to fit anything anywhere.

how do you bend it?

I think he is talking about cutting angles and making it bend. Doesn't look as good, but it does work. Lot more welds too. But thats practice if you need it like me.

oh, i dont need the practice all i have is an old ac arc welder so the less welding the better haha cant wait untill i can afford a tig

Yeah A/C arc welders are pretty much useless. I got one for free, and after using a D/C miller at school, I could throw it away. I would pick up a set of alumiweld rods and play around with it. Get some acetone, and a stainless steel brush, and make sure the metal is cleaned just before you do the brazing, but that stuff works pretty good, and you can tell its strong.

i actually have brazed aluminum with an acetaline torch before, its not to bad but i really prefer a tig, but who knows if i cant get my hands on a tig i might just have to get a torch goin. and just gonna throw this out there as crappy as an ac welder is i have used it for everything haha

I was reading a review about frozen boosts a2w coolers and someone mentioned they have cheap piping and clamps and stuff, and although the clamps seam cheap the work really well. I also notice this in there ic piping. its a pre intercooler cooler. http://www.frozenboost.com/product_info.php?cPath=220&products_id=225&osCsid=60c5d34a027595c8bd531aaa60f399e0, at least here is another spot to check for ya.

siliconeintakes.com

Quality parts at affordable prices, fast shipping. I was more than pleased when I placed my order with them.

I think the most cost effective way for you would be to buy a universal IC piping kit with couplers & clamps from CX Racing, and then order what other parts you need from siliconeintakes.com.

I ordered most of my couplers & clamps from Stinger, and I had well over $100 in my order (about the price of a CX Racing IC piping kit on ebay) of just couplers and clamps alone.

One thing I don't like about CX racing though are their intercoolers. For double the money, you can get a more efficient IC from Treadstone Performance. IMHO, the CX racing IC's means of heat transfer is far from ideal.
