im looking for the pigtail for the VAM, along with the square intake tube that bolts to the vam for my turbo swap. i have an intercooler, manifold, computer, injectors, fuel pump and fpr for a tc. might need other stuff if youve got it

i have an extra pigtail but what r you talking about the square intake that bolts to the vam. which side?

Sorry that's a bad description. It would be the intlet or flapper side of the VAM. I don't have any intake parts except for the VAM. And that part appeared to bolt on to the VAM with a gasket between.

i don't have anything bolted to the flapper side of my vam. i have a k&n filter on that side and the other obviously goes to the turbo. its hooked up just like any mass airflow meter. i think your seeing the holes where the original filter bolts on top of the vam? maybe?

Heres a pic of the side of the VAM im talking about. it appears that something bolts to this side.

867868 i am thinking you may have what looks to be a mercury capri vam. this is the first time i tried to up load pics so we'll see how it works. the one is a turbo coupe vam and this second is what the pigtail looks like.

O ok. I work at napa auto parts and that's the vam my catalog said was for an 88 turbo coupe. Maybe I'll see what the older ones look like.thanks again

that looks like the right vam, its just missing inlet hose flange thingamajigger.

well i found a universal aluminum intake adapter that seems like it will bolt on to the VAM. so as of right now i think im all set. thanks guys!
