I an not trying to start a big arguement here but a high volume pump wont be necessary unless you have loose bearing clearances. It might even cost a couple of horsepower compared to a standard volume pump. Everyone likes high volume pumps but unless you need the extra volume it may not be the best choice. That being said you do have an additional oil path through the turbo.

www.rockauto.com

prices are pretty damn good

i am using the stock ranger pump that has almost 140k on it, works perfectly fine

even if you think a high volume pump is not worth it it's half the price of oe.

i wrote elsinger about the link (oilpump) i wrote about they said

"If you have the oil pump that replaces the intermediate shaft then no it
will not work. If you have every other 2.3 setup it will work.
Esslinger Engineering Inc."

what does that mean do i have an intermediate shaft?

the 95 and up block dont have a intermeadiate shaft. the oil pump is right behind the timing belt idler pully. the esslinger pump it for 94 and older 2.3 blocks.

as far as i know the 95 and up EDIS blocks dont have a HV replacement. you have to use an OEM.
