I read one of your posts somewhere Jess where you mentioned that you moved your coil packs.
Is this necessary or is it possible to create a heatsheild? To cover the packs and the harness you mentioned extending and moving.
I have a 96 2.3L 5 Speed BTW.
Thanks.

It all depends on the size of turbo you use and the style of manifold used. You can see the one coil pack on the fire wall below.

1st time I ever had a turbo bolted on.

My t3 super 60 allowed me to keep the front coil mounted on the factory bracket. I used a sawsall to trim the rear coil mount off and used a 45 degree silicone coupler(slightly trimmed). The other coil is mounted to the AC compressor bracket as I do not have air. I then used a second set of stock ford plug wires for the long side to connect the plugs with heat resistant socks on the plug ends. It looks very good as it could almost be stock

I don't have A/C either so that might be an option if need be! Thanks for the replies.

If you use a stock manifold (E6) then you do not have to relocate the coil packs at all. But the AC compressor mount is a perfect spot for one if your going to use one of Jess's headers.

It's a 96. So yea, 93-97 gen. That hole will be getting a lot larger and a lot cleaner heh. It's just done in the deadoning so its waterproof for now. I have a nice piece of rubber to put between the bed and cab. I'm going to figure out how to put it all in there when I have the bed off for other work.
Those are just the only pics I have atm. Even right now it looks 10x better haha. I'm actually pulling the truck out of storage this weekend to put in a nice warm comfy garage to start overhaulin :D YAY! Glad my bro givin up his spot haha. I'll take hundreds of pics haha.
