so im doing an explorer 8.8 swap and lowering my ranger at the same time.want 2" drop in front and 4 in rear so wondering what the best way to get this is. also if i am even doing this correct. i want the front 2 inches lower and the rear the same but level with front so im thinking 4 right.

expo will lower 5ish so you would need a 1" hanger id just put the 8.8 and see where it sits

what year is your truck? If you've got an i-beam front suspension I would recommend going with a drop i-beams and 2" drop kit. To give you an idea the djm 3/4 kit usually leaves the nose in the air
If the explorer axle sits too low for you you will have to move the hangars down on the frame in order to raise the truck or run lift springs

Yeah, same here. I'm just about finished with my 5.0 swap now, in my 98, and i'm going to put the exo rear in. i want the rear of the truck to be maybe 2 inches highr then the nose for that "staged look" as i call it. any suggestions?

To giv you an idea my truck has an 8.8 out back, and 2" drop springs + 3" drop Ibeams up front and my nose is lower then the rear. so if you do 2" in drop srpings in the front and 8.8 out back it will not be enough drop up front to give you the rake you want so you'll deffinantly need lift shackles in the rear

Well the djm 2" drop springs will give you the drop up front. The 8.8 will roughly give you 5" in the rear so you'd need around 3" lift shackles you should be able to get them at your local parts store I know I can get belltech ones from mine
