Welcome to the site. Get yourself some swivel joints, electrical tape them to make them stiffer, and some long extensions on a 1/2in drive. With that set up, you should be golden. I've never taken my mani apart, i dont feel like changing the gasket everytime i would haha

getting the plugs out is the easy part putting the plug wires back on... total pain in the ass. i just buy gaskets instead of bandaids ;)

on a plus note if you replace the gasket with a cortico one they are reusable.

Well i did go ahead and take the upper mani off it really wasnt bad at all and made it easy to pull plug wires off. My only problem now is that it runs good but i am not sure if i mix up the two back plug wires on driver side it runs good both was. I was a dumb ass and took both off for some reason and got side tracked and forgot which is which. any suggestion im going to search but didnt know if i could get a Quick reply thanks guys.

Ok went off this diagram and found order and went clockwise from 1. So the reason i am doing this is cause it shakes and sputters alot so i replaced plugs, plug wires and fuel filter. What else could do this maybe fuel pump?

still does it mostly at lower rpms and 4th and 5 th gear sux most of the time. It only does it sometimes so i guess replacing the coils is next. what do you guys thank. i also cleaned the iac.

How about a quick compression test first to verify that the engine is sound before throwing common parts at it. Compression testers are cheap and you can do it through the exhaust side spark plug holes. Also before replacing coils I would try to switch the two coils as they are the same and it is highly unlikely that you have two bad coils. If I remember correctly the motor doesn't always run on both spark plugs

firing order is off. looking for it as i got mine all screwed up too. its a wasted spark system so shouldnt be that hard to figure out. 1,4 and 2,3 are paired.

ok well i found the order and its all right next question is while runnin i can plug the intake tube and it still runs. do i have a intake leak or what. only reason i know this is cause i was messin with the maf and it has a rough idle sometimes while plugged in and when i unplug it and idles normal. so idk whats up with this truck.
