A company out of idaho makes a adaptor to the 5th wheel hitch to make it into a goose neck which gives you more room in the bed, and more towing capacity. Our new pickup has a gooseneck hitch and I was gonna put a 5th wheel hitch in and take that out, but found a company out of idaho making this adaptor and it costs 400.00 for a short bed one, but all the time and extra money I would have spent this was a great investment. Gonna put it on tonight.

I have seen about 5 or 6 since getting mine locally, so I think they are gonna end up being even more popular as people see them, and exspensive 5th wheel hitches are gonna be obsolete. I have a turn over goose neck ball in my truck right now, but wish it was the BW one. Still have full use of my box, which with 5th wheel rails is a bitch. I will definately to this to any truck I get. Having the 8 inch extension is really nice too. I don't have any pics yet as I still need use a cheater bar to tighten mine before welding. Weather has been rain, rain, scattered rain, lots or rain, rain, cloudy, rain, wind and rain, ect, ect, so no point in getting it done anyways.
