I have a 95 ranger 2.3 5 speed that i want to try a G force power chip in. I was wondering if its worth it. according to the company it will work with this motor or the 86 turbo coupe motor I am going to install at a later time.

If your looking for a chip, I'd check out F3chip from Moates.net, quarthorse, SCT 4 bank chip, or there OBD II Xcal3 if your gonna go with your modern engine, or Tweecer RT.

Dont install an 86 TC motor in anything newer than a 94. You'll make it hard on yourself and spend way more money than needed. I've done it and you'll wish you just built the 95 motor with TC internals and called it a day......
Never heard of G force BTW

G force is most likely a resistor in the IAT wiring. Their website is BS, but if you read enough it hints at this. You might as well buy a Tornado fuel saver while your at it, total snake oil. Way more time went into G Force's website development than any actual tuning.
Search on here or any of the other Ranger sites for tuning any you can see what the ACTUAL tuning products are that people are using, your 95 (OBD-II) can be tuned by you with a proper tuner (SCT, Xcal3 or whatever).

It's an IAT Resistor scam, most likely will or already have a class action law-suit against them.
Edit: Notice how all the pictures etc are the same, regardless of the year make model? This is a very cleverly put together scam. The part numbers are perfectly numerical in order from Audi to Volvo starting at 100000 and moving by 1 digit. May be a coincidence or a good way to make things look legit.
Example lets take 2 vehicle we KNOW have the same ECU/ECM
1997 Ford Ranger Extended Cab Manufacturer Part Number: 105110
1997 Ford Ranger Regular Cab Manufacturer Part Number: 105109
Something doesn't add up. "Chip" price is the same regardless if it's the Saleen S7 or a Ranger. All the chips are marked down from 300 MSRP to $69.99.... Something doesn't add up.... Here we go straight from their site.

Thanks for the info on g force. It does seem too good to be true that's why I thought I'd ask. I want to learn as much as i can about turbos,rangers and their computers so when i take mine apart it goes back together quick and easy. Splatranger95 why shouldn't I use the '86 motor? Computer,injector,and other differences?

Most would say obd II is easier to tune, but I guess thats up to who tunes it. It isn't a bad idea necessarily since you might not even have a 100% OBD II ranger as 95 was the first year of OBD II, also it would depend on hp goals, as some claim the older blocks are thicker than the newer ones, so give some hp goals, plans for the truck and others can tell you if it is really worth it. Also if you have emissions testing, OBD II might be required for smog testing.
