Hi anyways.
Been messing with ford 2.3 turbos since around 1990-91.
Have not stuffed one in a truck... yet.
Mostly play with them in the standard mustangs and birds... but my real love is the turbo pinto.
Found this place while looking for a header... figure I will hang around a bit.
Cant be on too many 2.3 turbo forums.

Hi, and welcome. I had a turbo 1979 capri once and a couple of pintos along the way. My favorite was a 79 that was red with a white "starski and hutch" stripe.

Yes they were. MY Dad owned one and still to this day has the 40 over forged pistons/rods for it in the basement that I wanted for my ranger but wouldnt let me have.

I think my 79 is still sitting in someones yard about 15 miles away. Too bad for the salt. It was kind of rotten

last time I was in the area was about 3 years ago (test drive for work). It is on a little country road just outside of mukwanago. I probably should take a ride by sometime. I actually liked the car a lot. It was just impossible to find a gas tank.
