I have a 95 ranger, and some turbo coupe parts. i have read all the threads of using big injectors, big maf for big power. my problem is mostly money, so here is my plan. i will use the TC pistons with new rings and bearings, garrett T3, jesses' manifold, switch to an external wastegate, BOV, and intercooled. here is my snag so to speak. in an effort to save some money. can i run the stock ranger maf, fuel pump and the 35# brown top injectors from the TC. i also plan to buy the sct tuner for this truck. would this application be doable or should i wait a little longer to save the money. I will eventually upgrade, continuing my quest for more power, but for now i was wandering if anyone has done anything like this or will it even work. any help or insight is greatly appreciated.

don't think your maf will be able to handle too much boost if any, Jess knows this for sure. Your injectors will only handle about 175hp, not whp. So thats not too much.
Not sure what your fuel pump will handle.
Fuel pump 100$
Maf 100$
injecotors 150$
so for 350 you can be up and running the right way, i would wait.

the stock 35# injectors can handle just about 300hp. 300 seems to be the limit on "stock" hardware. the maf may be your limiting factor. i don't know what size maf is stock for the ranger. the t-bird vam though, is good for close to 300 although in the upper ranges it is just wide open and the ecu is simply dumping fuel through the injectors.
a more realistic number with the 35# injectors and la3 and big vam (intercooled of course) is around 250.
oh yeah, you definately have to have a fuel pump to support that too. anything over 250 and you'll need eitehr a walboro 255lph or a bosch 044 300lph pump.

There's even kits you can buy that have the maf and injectors together to save some money.

He's tuning his 95 not using the TC computer so ...... 35# injecotors won't work, Vam wont work, La3 won't work.
Stock ranger injectors aren't very big, not sure exactly what they are, you'd have to research.

The stock ranger MAF will not work with any boost, it will peg with 3-5psi.
Get some 36, 39 or 42lb injectors 90mm maf you will need a 255lph fuel pump for over 10psi of boost. If you don't want to spend the 300$ on a SCT tuner I can tune your ECU for you. You can always buy a SCT tuner later :)

you can get a lightning maf for 75-100 bucks... not really that much to cry about. 3 lbs boost you can run on a completely stock truck. whats your hp goal and then everyone can tell you where to to lighten the finacial load
