I am going to be at Quaker City Friday night. Will be there by 6 PM. I may race sat at Thompson also.
I just spent a few hrs pouting a set of REAL traction bars on the truck. Should launch good. There is one problem I was out test driving the truck and the clutch holds till drive and after I shift to drive it starts to slip :mad2: I need a better PP. It is pulling real hard it will actually break the MT's loose in 3rd on dry pavement at 65MPH.

:yikes: :yikes: :yikes:
I though it was crazy when you broke em loose goin 50mph infront of me, that was with street tires!
As for the PP, I got one from Clutchnet and so far it hasn't slipped. Then again i haven't put half the power through it you do. Not sure what the difference is other than price in these two PP's.

Ran at QC last night. Did not have the best runs's missing gears and bad launches. Did a best of 12.7 at 107.6MPH boost was a mild 26PSI.
I am going up to Lucky Drag City today. I'll see if I can IMPROVE :)

sorry couldnt make it man... life stepped in the way.
how did you make out?
just ordered the centerforce II for the stang. should have it running for next weekend maybe. gabriel's birthday is next weekend so i wont be able to go out but the week after maybe a dyno session up at akron horsepower?

:smilewink Thats cool! Keep family 1st cars come and go, family lasts for life.
I ran at Lucky Drag City today. Best MPH 108.99 Best E/T 12.7 on 26psi of boost. I went to go up to 30PSI and went out to run 3 times and popped a boot off every run. Last run I thought it was golden till just after the 8th boom! I went 13.1 @ 87MPH it would have been a easy 109+ MPH with a mid 12sec run if the boot would have stayed on. I got a machine here to put the rib on the ends of the pipe so thats what I will be doing in the next day or so.

no problem man i can ony do the 3 inch ones. thats the smallest bead roll we can do. another thing you can do is scuff them up with sand paper where the hoses go. or tape them off and bead blast em

I suprised you still use silicone couplers. I thought for sure with that much boost you would have a fully welded charge pipe by now.

damn you need to own a race team like them to afford it.
Would it be wrong to spend more money on clamps, than the rest of the truck in its entirety?

Holy **** you can get clamps custom made for less than that!
But... they're so beautiful!
I need to go get beads rolled on my charge pipes as well. So I need to make it to one of the local "tuner" shops. I'd love to buy my own bead roll machine... but wow they're expensive!
