esslinger 2277 camshaft

can some people that have run both the ranger roller and the esslinger camshaft do a write up here on the spool characteristics of both.

what i am looking for is someone that has run both on the exact same set-up. no changes except for the cams.

I can not notice any big difference in spool up between the 2. As far as HP gain the 2277 will make a big difference in the 4000-6500RPM range.

Also something I am considering. When I built my new motor, I figured if I was doing new valves, new springs, new followers... I might as well buy a brand new cam. I am now kicking myself in the ass for buying a stock ranger cam.
