Hey guys, long time no talk.
I got all my major megasquirt issues figured out by sending my unit to Turbodad from tf. He rewired it to do direct coil control, using the tfi as the trigger wheel essentially.
My only issue that I'm trying to get solved right now is one due to lack of experience tuning.
While I'm cruising down the highway doing about 110kph (2500rpm 5th gear) I'm very close to boost, like -2HG, and the slightest hill brings me to 5psi or so. Almost like my turbo is too small but it never behaved this way with the stock computer (stock t3 from an xt4ti auto)
I'm assuming its my timing, but I'm not sure whether to advance or retard it in these field, I'm running about 40degrees at cruise right now.
attached is my current tune, and in the link below is a log of my entire trip to work 80% cruise on highway.
Let me know what you think I should do as I dont want to wreck my engine or end up with a molten turbo again.
