A super 60 is a different animal then anything that came oem.

If you do have an actual super 60, you've got about the best T3 compressor you can get.

If it is indeed the stock turbo, its a .60/.63

I am running a Turbonetics T3 super 60 with a .48 exhaust housing. What are your questions?

Ah yes, those are the correct numbers.

So would the Super 60 spool faster than mine?

I was just wanting to know if its worth spending the money on vs. just using the stock one.

A lot of the ebay no name turbos from power sellers etc are incredibly cheap as they need to be balanced and are poorly made. If it's a private seller and not a store or a trustworthy brand name then MAAAYBE get it.

Anyone know what Trim wheel the stock .60/.63 turbo is?

I would NOT spend money on anything less then the 60trim or the Super 60 T3 compressor. And even then, the 60 trim is barely good for 250hp.

with the .48 housing I would expect it to spool quickly. I also agree that I wouldnt go any smaller than a 60 trim on a t3 from what i saw in the maps

What about this turbo?

From what I'm reading it's good for 300+ HP. And seeing as my friend used it on his Turbo Grand Prix and hit 309whp??

Assuming your running a stockish 2.3 and your hp goal is about 300 crank hp (~20lbs).

It would be a good choice...It has a little room for growth or you could turn it down a little to.

That turbocharger on a 2.3 is Set for peek efficiency at max rpm.

Well, at this point it looks like I will be boring out the block to accept a lil bit oversized pistons meant for a N/A 2.3 setup. They are FREE from my Dad so I'm not complaining haha. Apparently the compression ratio is supposed to be 8.5:1ish so should be good as they are forged as well. AND seeing how things are goin right now, that might be the turbo I end up with.

DO NOT buy XSPower turbo's, they are junk! Like flyin said, CHINA pretty much sums it up.

It spools very quick. I would have actually perferred a .63 exhaust housing but I did not find any that weren't part of a hybrid setup. I currently have a small break in the wastegate gasket and to be honest I like the way the truck drives a little more.
