I have used them on other vehicles that I own. They work well and there are subtle power gains. I could feel them. Some people will say that they are concerned about charging. I NEVER had a problem. Keep an eye on the engine temp especially at idle. If you don't overheat you will be fine.
One time I saw a Mercury Villager overheat at 500 rpm because of a bad idle air valve. At 800 rpm no more problems.
Just my personal experience, and yes I would give it a try

Never used one but I do know they work. I am going to a electric fan.

Ooh ok nice thanks for the answer. Would this still work well on the obd2 motors? Cause it only states to 94...

It should, I'm not sure it will bolt on.
