I need to get the 255lph fuel pump i believe. If I remember I might have seen someone say that the older rangers (93-97)? may have come with the 255. IS this true? What years/models came with the fuel pump I need? Thank you!

No the 93-97 is not the 255LPH pump. I'm not sure what LPH it is.

Here is the pump you need http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/98-01-Ford-Ranger-Racing-Fuel-Pump-Autoteq-255LPH-99-00_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33555QQihZ010QQitemZ 200185726774QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD1VQQtrksidZp1638Q 2em118Q2el1247

the stock 2.3 l pump is only 60lph for 93-97. bbk makes a 255lph pump that is a direct fit. well any walbro pump will be a direct fit

Get a walbro, they seem to be a pretty popular and work fine for me.

I ended up going with the Kenne Bell Boost-a-pump. Thought I would mention it as an alternative.

I bought mine through quality-performance on ebay. its a 255lph is great pump. when i got it in the mail it reaked of gas becuse they test them b4 they send them it came as a kit of course 64.99 plus 10.00 for shipping. i know it's just as a walbro mabe dare i say better. 75.00 is a lot better than a 100.00 pump pluse 10-20.00 shipping save yourself 50 bucks no downside. I know what people are going to say "its in your tank you dont want to have to drop your tank again":frown2: I'm positive thats not going to happen and 1 year replacement guarantee. it kinda sounds like i'm selling them
