Alright I have a 2 parter here...
First, how do you connect to the oil supply from the motor? IIRC was it the oil sending unit that needs to be tapped into? How do I go about tapping into that, and how do I run an oil pressure gauge off of it. Any pics? Do I tee off of it? I just wan to get a solid idea before I dig in.
Second, is there a way to prime the oil system so the turbo doesnt dry start upon initial firing? Is it necessary to prime the oil system and get oil ready to go into it?
Thanks everyone!

You need a brass tee. Screw the tee into the oil pressure sender hole. Screw the sender into the tee and connect the oil supply line between the tee and turbo.
When you are ready to run the engine trip the fuel cutoff switch and crank the engine until you see pressure on the gauge

Ah i see. That was my initial thought regarding priming the oil, thank you!
so i can thread directly into the sender thats already on the block? It has a threaded hole already?

Yep thats is the pressure sensor. That T fitting is off of the 86 TC head. If you ask around i'm sure someone will have one kicking around, really handy to have.

I had to come and view this thread again. The pictures were extremely helpful. When I did all my gauges in one night i had a lot to do. I have everything ready to go (wires run, gauges work) and I couldnt find the sending unit that night I did everything. These pictures really clarify everything for me though, I'm hoping to tackle that this weekend now. Thanks again and I hope I can find it!

hey negelandy, i see your using the ranger head, does this mean your using the range bock as well??
if you are, where did you get your oil lines for the turbo, or is that just brake hose?? also, what did you do to take care of the oil return, or is that just big brake line??

Yes i'm using the ranger head and block.
My oil feed line is just regular brake line. It was stainless before but that stuff is too much of a pain to bend so i used regular. The fittings are just regular brake line fittings, they thread right into the turbo.
The oil return line is the one that came stock from an 86TC.
I'll have to upload a pic of my return line tonight.

what size drill bit an tap do you need for tapping the block?

get the fitting first then find the appropriate tap for the fitting. The correct drill size to use will be marked on the tap.
BE CAREFUL when you drill the hole that you have a point of the block where there are no obstructions to a clean hole like cylinder webbing
