wastegate exhaust

What size exhaust does everyone use on their wastegate? Also where can I find the flange to go off the wastegate?

The flange should come with the waste gate. I run a 1.25" dump pipe to open atmosphere.

I bought a wastegate second hand and just have the wastegate itself. It has flanges to go to the header, and a flange to connect to exhaust the wastegate. I just do not have the part that connects the exhaust to the flange. The actual little flange that connects to the wastegate itself. Any idea where I can locate one?

i would try ebay depending on what make the wastegate is other wise u could make one out of 1/2in steel just trace the flange on the wastegate on to the steel then cut drill and weld.

I have another question about this. anyone have pictures of their wastegate exhaust? Is anyone running back into the exhaust system? I'd like to run back into the exhaust system for noise, heat, and legality issues. I want to get an idea of how I should approach this and what I need. I believe I heard that my local track does not allow open wastegate dumps. Thanks!

However you decide to run the pipe be sure that the pipe is supported as the weight of the pipe will crack your header.
