Ok, I've been reading the megamanual, and lookin at DIY auto tune, and am curious as to what the advantage of a PCB3.57 is over a PCB3.0. What is the extra connector on the front for? I think I'm going to go with MS2 PCB3.57, but I still have to figure out a lot more. Also, is a stimulator needed? or is it just recommended?

Isn't the 3.57 surface mounted components instead of the normal?
Other than that I haven't paid attention since I bought mine. It's a MS-II V3.0

How hard is it to get set up and running? I've never done anything like this before, and am still pretty new to tuning, so help is really appreciated.

I don't know, mine is still 90% assembled. My truck is torn apart so not much incentive right now to finish it.
But, if you wan't to know the MS inside and out, I suggest build one yourself. If you wan't one ready to roll out of the box, buy a prebuilt one built to your specs. Getting running shouldn't be too hard. There are plenty of people out there to get a base .msq file for our engines that should get you idleing and running close enough under throttle to go out and tune it yourself. Make sure you have a wideband O2 sensor so you can tune.

Sure thing, Im going to get one from diy autotune full assembled with boost control(up to 44psi), TFI control, and hook it up to the existing relay bank. They also have widebands for $220 so I'll get one at the same time. I think I'm gonna get the PCB3.0 too.

I can recommend turbo_dad on turboford.net. His are a little more expensive but the tech support is worth every penny. His comes in a ford case and plugs into the EEC connector using the stock harness. He built mine with 4 bar map, baro, two step, ground for shift light and fan control. Helped with the set up and tune.

i can second that recommendation! ive met him and he's a pretty good guy. he builds them custom in the factory case so it looks stock. you can use high impedence or low impedance injectors, its your choice, and he gives you a base tune according to your setup. give you his cell # if you have problems and need help. thats good customer support.

Sweet, may go that way instead of DIY, cause it would be nice to deal with someone who knows about 2.3s in particular.
