the roller , to start with, the slider will rob a few HP, and also todays oils will not let a slider cam live long due to the lower ZDDP content in them.

I thought that theory was reserved for OHC motors without bearings(aluminum)... Are the 2.3 cam bearings not faced?

I run royal purple in my stuff anyway.

So you would suggest using the roller cam then? Wonder what is the profile difference...
