but for that money you have full controll over your tune. you dont need to go to a tuner dealer to get it uploaded for a new tune.
i have a friend who only uses AEM an its over $2000 for that set up. |

I used the special forces system ($399) and after an initial runarround with some bad hardware. I can say that it worked well for me. What made me decide to use it was the ability to tune a second car for free and I think additional cars are 100 dollars each. It doesn't give you complete controll but It did everything I needed it to do.

does it let you turn off components in the engine? i.e. EGR

Yes you can turn the EGR off with it as well as the rear O2 sensor.
