Something with my clutch gave out today, can't change gears or put it into gear unless motor is off then with clutch peddle pressed down go to start the truck and it moves with the starter not good. So I got on eBay ya ya I know but found this any input. I'm not sure about it but I figured Id ask and see. Ill findout what's exactly wrong with mine tomorrow I hope

That's the company I picked my clutch up from since they're local to me. As a matter of fact, it's the same clutch setup. If you read my thread I describe what they told me. It's a rebranded Compitition clutch. I took the leap and my truck should be up and running soon.

Wouldn't the splines be diferent on the mustang t bird disk or am I wrong
and thanks agent I think that may be the route I take depending on what I find later today when I get the trans out

Yes Mustang and Tbird have the T5 tranny which has a different spline than your ranger trans.

hey before you put a new clutch in and put the trans back up you might want to check your slave cylinder. it sounds like its the culprit. but if your pulling down the trans anyway you may want to replace the clutch too, depending how old it is.

Yep I'd say it was the slave too. Made it a mile from home and lost all pedal. Kill truck, first gear and turn it over until it started, shift gears with rpms all the way home!!! Gets complicated in traffic though.... I would like an update on the new clutch too.
